The NSX Methodology
Our NSX English syllabus is designed to fit the needs of the students attending our summer language schools and caters for proficiency levels – beginners, intermediate and advanced, in line with the CEFR (Common European Framework Reference). Through dynamic lessons, conversation practice, and interactive projects, students will:
- Enhance their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Build confidence in using English in real-life situations.
- Learn from professional and experienced native instructors.
But English language development at NSX is not just about learning in the classroom. We believe learning should be fun, interactive, and empowering. That’s why our programme combines engaging classroom lessons with exciting activities, sports, and excursions to give your students a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience.

Whether it’s mastering your pronunciation or expanding your vocabulary, we’re here to guide students toward fluency.
Our schedule runs similarly to that of other language schools, with morning lessons, afternoon and evening activities and excursions 3 times over the 2-weeks – however it is how we connect it all together that makes a real difference. Morning lessons are designed to support core language skill development, activities are to build confidence, practice, and fluency.
Project Work
We run a project throughout the 2-weeks in the form of a ’school magazine’.
Each student is responsible for at least 1 page, on a guided topic related to their experience – so think film review from movie night, an advert for visiting an excursion destination, sports report from the previous evenings’ team challenge – and the best part is that we collate, print and bind the magazine so that every student gets to take a copy home as a keepsake of their time here at NSX.

OUR SUMMER SCHOOL LOCATIONS
All our Summer Schools are set in beautiful, independent English schools, where students live on-site in boarding dormitories. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with often 2–6 students sharing to support new friendships between different nationalities.
NSX at Millfield School
