Overview
English+ is our core programme, and it offers everything within it to create a perfect summer abroad. Stay on-campus at one of amazing schools, spend your time meeting new friends from around the world and grow in confidence, not only in yourself, but your English too!
Spend mornings in dynamic English lessons, where classrooms are never boring, in the afternoons choose to participate in workshops designed to support your future goals or get active outside with a sport, or creative with art. In the evenings, come together with everyone else to join in with team building challenges and earn points for your team – with prizes to gain before the end of your stay!
On 3 days, we’ll travel to different city locations for full day excursions – discover the capital London as well as the historic streets smaller cities, which will open your eyes to real-life in England.
The NSX Team System
To boost community spirit, all students are divided into teams for the duration of the programme. Teams earn points throughout the fortnight in many ways, a few examples are:
- Following the Student Agreement (e.g., speaking English only)
- Winning team challenges in the classroom (e.g., debates)
- Excelling in evening or social activities
At the end of the programme, the team with the highest score is crowned the winner and awarded a prize! Previous prizes have included VIP tickets to the Staff/Student formal dinner and disco – a highlight that kept students highly motivated and engaged.
English Lessons
Students receive high-quality English tuition from qualified and experienced TEFL teachers. Lessons are designed to improve confidence and fluency through interactive, skills-based learning that covers speaking, listening, reading and writing. We then bring all this learning to life through the ‘NSX Magazine’ – a keep-sake project that covers the whole NSX experience!
Excursions
Excursions are an essential part of the NSX experience, giving students the chance to discover some of the England’s towns, cities and cultural landmarks. Each two-week stay includes a 3 full-day trips, carefully planned and fully supervised. These excursions bring classroom learning to life, allowing students to practise their English, explore new places, and gain a deeper understanding of British culture.
Activities
Our afternoon activities encourage students to try new things, develop skills, and make lasting friendships. From sports and creative arts to workshops created by our amazing staff team, every session is designed to build confidence and cooperation in an enjoyable, supportive environment as well as enrich and consolidate their English language skills from morning lessons.
Evenings
Evenings at NSX are all about fun, friendship, community and teamwork. After a busy day of lessons and activities, students come together for team games, talent shows, quizzes, discos, and themed events. Every evening is carefully organised and supervised, creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere where students can relax, socialise, and make memories that last long after summer ends.
